The NFL came down hard on the Saints for their role in the bounty scandal. Head coach Sean Payton has been suspended a full year, defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has been suspended indefinitely and GM Mickey Loomis has been suspended eight games and fined $500,000. The team itself has also been fined $500,000 and will forfeit second-round picks in 2012 and 2013.
